March 15, 2009: Chino Home Market Activity

By
Real Estate Agent with Tarbell, Realtors

Twenty-five Chino homes were listed for sale during the week ending March 14, 2009, and eleven homes entered escrow, according to the Inland Multi-Regional Multiple Listing Service.

A total of 290 Chino homes were listed for sale in the MLS on March 15. Included were 156 single-family homes not in associations. There were 134 condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes in homeowner associations listed for sale in Chino on March 15; 133 listed homes were reported as vacant.

The MLS showed 52 foreclosed, or Real Estate Owned, homes listed in Chino on March 15; 100 others were in pre-foreclosure - listed as "in foreclosure," Notice of Default or Short Pay/Subject to Lender. Please note: The MLS only recently required the type of sale of listed homes to be reported when a listing is entered into the system; the numbers of homes in foreclosure or having a Notice of Default - both of which likely would have short payoffs - does not included previously listed homes.

There were seven Chino homes reported as sold in the MLS during the week ending March 14, 2009.
