There are many real estate designations and enhancements available to real estate professionals these days. Some are more valuable than others, but being a big advocate of continuing education, I recently selected one that I thought would not only benefit me, as a professional, but also would be exceptionally valuable to my clients.
That selection was to become an e-Pro certified Realtor.
When I was researching this opportunity, I ran across the following excerpt from the class literature:
"Should you use an e-PRO? Yes——especially if you're an Internet user. In this fast-paced age, technology has become a necessity. An e-PRO is someone who has recognized and responded to the needs of the new consumer. If you choose an e-PRO, it's a safe bet you'll get the kind of service you want——and need."
This impressed me. I use the internet very often to do research and to make purchases. It has become a large part of my life, personally & in business. I know many folks feel the same way and it is only going to become even more important to each of us in the future. Fast, accurate and accessable answers are equally invaluable and that is what working with an e-Pro is all about.
If technology can not make our lives better, it is not of much use to any of us. The future of Real Estate will be technology driven. Specialized agents trained to use these technologies to their maximum potential, with the clients best interests always in mind, will make all the difference . . . I am proud to be a part of this revolution taking place in world of Real Estate.
