If you are looking for an easy web-based design tool to create a blog banner or website leaderboard, then you may want to take a look at www.bannerfans.com.  The interface is easy to use - it is definitely a WYSIWYG type of interface.  Design it on the screen, save the banner, and then retrieve the html code or direct link or download it as a jpeg.

Here are some new blog banners:

BannerFans.com BannerFans.com BannerFans.com

Let us know what you think of the new look.  We are still experimenting but I definitely like this new tool.  It is much easier than trying to do it myself using Microsoft Publisher.

Katerina - I'm a "geekie" Realtor - I just don't have the skill set to use the more complicated programs so I look for ease of use - plus it's free.  I guess that makes me a cheap, geekie Realtor.

Shane - It does have an option to upload an image.  I haven't used it yet.  That's above this cowboys paygrade.

Terri - I love the tech tools... It is a blindspot... followed closely by debating everything to the point of exhaustion.

Tip - AR recommends 960 x 130 - I don't know about anyone else but that left a 1/2 inch black gap on the right side so I increased width dimension to 1000 pixels.

You know what I cant figure out is how you get a header to fit when you consider everyones resolutions. I want to add one to my site and to my blogs but on different displays it gets weird looking. Bleh.. too much to figure out!

Shane - There is a program that puts your site into 20+ browsers so you can see how it looks.  I don't have a good grasp on the issue - I just know I had problems with the recommended pixel width.

Brenda - Thanks.  I was looking to update my blog headers and this just popped up at the right time.  It made it much easier to do.

Laura - Thanks for reading.  As a new company, we try to conserve every buck possible and tend to do things for ourselves when we can.  Down market and down sized ... best thing that ever happened for us.  We are #1 in listings and sales in our 2 primary submarkets.  Making our move now on our next 2 submarkets.

Don - Yes, you can.  I haven't yet - starting with baby steps.

Michael - Complete those banners in record time - 3 in 30 minutes.

Ken - Thanks for reading.  I love tech tools and like posting news that we can all use.

Tom - Did I save you time?  Or, did I just open time for a Lars walk on your calendar today?

Anne Marie - Yes, I use Microsoft Publisher for everything... Graphic artist and web designers laugh at me when I make this admission - but Publisher is so easy to use.  This site was nice because it gave me links and html code.  Thanks - Irish friend...Eist moran agus can beagan! (motto for your recent post - bit of Irish wisdom)
