Here are the daily thoughts on floating or locking if you are asked by your clients.

As always - consult your favorite mortgage professional who will be able to offer the best advice for YOUR unique situation

Some good news released today.  Housing starts and building permits both came in not only higher than last month but higher than analysts expectations.  The Producer Price Index came in lower than expected while the core PPI was slightly higher than expectations though still lower than last month.

Technically speaking - the FNMA 4.5% 30 year bond is holding near support levels.  The bond is near overbought levels.

I am recommending to

  LOCK your mortgage rate.
