Happy St. Patty's Day - Growin' Of The Green

I thought I'd take you on a tour of my newly planted veggie garden. Lots of green to share with you on a sunny St. Patrick's Day in Southern California. I'll bring you back in a few months and we'll see how big everything has gotten.

The artichokes look like they're very happy. What happens when you plant a celery stalk? I have never heard of that before.

Heather - The artichoke is from last year. Hopefully it will bear 'chokes this year. I had the celery in a glass of water in the kitchen and it started sprouting. I have no idea what will happen.

Nice job Tom! I'm just up the road a bit from you in Ventura. We've got a great start to our garden as well. The gophers have been a scourage this and last year. I'm ready to lock and load! Watch out for the squash- they'll soon have a zip code of their own!
