Hello everyone.

We celebrated Mothers' day quietly this weekend.

On Saturday I worked in the yard and set up a Water stand for my son to sell some water bottles.  He had the idea from watching cartoon on tv and we set him up on the yard for everyone to see.

My wife and I were pretty impressed with his determination to sell water bottles under the sun in the middle of the day.  After 2 and half hours we decided that the temperature was high enough and that he should get inside against is will of course.   I think he was disappointed that not so many people came by but overall it made him pretty happy for selling a half dozen bottle.   His price was set at 25 cent a bottle and someone gave him a big 1 dollar tip, which put a huge smile on his face.

Once inside, he counted all is money and started dreaming about all the good things he could buy.

The surprise came the next day however on Mother's day when he decided to give my wife 3 of his hard earn 25 cents from the day before.

I don't think any of my gifts could even come close to making mommy this proud and happy.

Happy belated Mothers' day to all the mom out there.

I loved your story about your lovely little boy.  Obviously you and your wife are doing something right!!  It is such a "feel good" story.  Thank you for sharing.
