Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter - May Fundraisers!

The Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter, Inc. situated in Colbert, GA and serving both Madison County and Oglethorpe County, Georgia has several upcoming events where you can help support this tremendous community shelter!

MOAS is having a "Kitten Shower" Saturday, May 26th, from 12-5 PM, to help raise money to care for the hundreds of kittens MOAS takes in each season.  "MOAS is registered at Pet Supplies Plus in Athens and participants are encouraged to bring donations to the shelter (directions) to help care for our kitties. Items like cat litter, canned cat and kitten food, KMR milk replacement formula, heating pads, blankets, cat beds and toys are especially welcome!Events for the day will include 2 for 1 cat and kitten adoptions and free refreshments. There will be face painting for the kids (of all ages!) and Mr. Clown will be here from 12-1 PM. as well! "

Saturday, May 26th, MOAS will be having a DOG WASH for MOAS from 9 AM to 3 PM at Southern Hardware in Comer on Highway 72, East. Flea and tick products will also be on sale during the fundraiser. Prices will be $5.00 for dogs under 30 pounds and $10.00 for larger dogs. All dogs must be on leashes or in crates!

SponsorSnip:  "For just $35.00 you can sponsor the spay or neuter of a shelter animal.  Animals that are already spayed or neutered can attend our off-site adoption days.  They can also leave the shelter without a waiting period when they are adopted.  These animals have a better chance of being adopted quickly.
