Claes Green was busted for contracting without a license.

Licensed contractors are the only way to go. You don't put yourself at risk. No matter how cheap it can be down you have no idea who your inviting into your home. With a licensed contractor they at least have had a background check from the state. Some of these guys had records !

Check a contractors license online and make sure it's real, and active.
