That's gorgeous!  I don't think we have any trees that bloom looking like that!

Pat - The Bradford Pears are always beautiful this time of year.

Hannah - One thing that is always certain is that Spring will follow Winter; it is just the wait that gets old!

Debbie - I am glad to hear that Tennessee is your favorite state. From the Rock & Roll and Blues out of Memphis to the Country out of Nashville and the remarkable sites of the beautiful Smoky Mountains in the east, Tennessee does have a lot to offer.

Sharon - The renewal of Spring really does have multiple meanings.

Jim - Thanks for the kind words. Glad you enjoy my photos. You should check out my pics on my photo blog, Rich's Pics.

Kathy - You should check out the Plum Tree blooms that I posted yesterday on my photo blog; link is in my comment above if you like.

Connie - In this part of the country it really has. I have been sleeping with my windows open and heat off for several days now. This and fall are the best times of year.

Hi Rich - Your beautiful photo gives me something to look forward to. Pears are one of the biggest crops in our area, althogh vineyards are rapidly gaining acreage. We're another 4-6 weeks from your Bradford Pears, though.

Carol - I love it when they are shedding their blossoms too. It looks like it is snowing with all the white flowers being carried on the wind.

Karen - I wish these pear trees bore fruit but in reality they are ornamental. The plum tree on my other post actually does bear fruit.

Hi Rich, Bradford Pears are big here in the Charlotte area as well. They are very pretty trees.

Tony - They are beautiful and almost as popular as magnolias in the south.

Karen - Me too! Ornamental are pretty but pears are tasty!
