CA Tea & Coffee

It's heartening to see new businesses become established and successful. Diane Walden called me yesterday to invite me to take a look at the California Tea & Coffee Brewery. Laura and I dropped in this morning, met Diane and her husband Vern and checked it out. Wonderful smells hit your nostrils the moiment you step in. They offer forty different loose leaf tes, with flavors like Caramelized Pear, Cinnamon Plum and Apricot Dream as well as the more traditional Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Oolong and the like. They also serve coffee. As Vern put it, they major in tea and have a minor in coffee. I had a dark roast coffee and Laura tried a Vanilla Earl Grey Latte. Both were delicious.

Diane bakes pastries and they also offer herb pizzas and omelet pretzels. It's a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Next time you're in the mood for a great cup of tea or coffee, give them a try. I think you'll become a regular.

Looks yummy!  I have been trying to promote local businesses in my area as well!  I think next time I might try my classified flyer ads to format it!

Wow, Tom!  I had no idea you would write such a nice piece the same day you visited until you called

just now..no wonder you do well in real estate with that kind of 'get it done' attitude!  And

humbly..thanks!  As a former agent/broker myself (the '80's), I know how important it is to have

places where you can relax or meet clients and we would be thrilled to serve.  We also have free Wi-Fi

with purchase of any beverage, no time limit per day.  As of today, there is a bulletin board for

business cards to help promote local businesspeople like yourself.  Our hours  are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

every day but Sunday.

Thanks again to you and your lovely lady!

..Diane

hi Tom,

This looks like a place that would become one of my favourites. most likely after the first visit. I love sampling various kinds of teas and Louis and I have one entire cabinet in our kitchen devoted entirely to our wide assortment of teas (we drink a LOT of tea).

Beautiful photos....

Diane - Wishing you continued success. You're a great addition to the area.

Jo - I think it would be. Their teas are really wonderful, and smell so good.

Ummmm. I'd love some fresh coffee right now (especially if someone else is making it).

Almost makes me miss living there..but then I think of the traffic and I'm glad I moved to the mountains.  I will have to stop by there next time I'm in town though.  I have friends who keep telling me I need to visit, and this would be a great place to go for some food!

I remember the Temecula Valley for its pastoral beauty and its winery tours!  The California Tea & Coffee Brewery sounds like it would be a good place to stop afterwards and enjoy a "cuppa".

Terry D - I don't know how long it's been since you've visited, but there are several excellent new wineries.
