Hi Wendy:  This State Park looks awesome, I've put it on my "to-do" list when we get up your way.  We might be up in Hendersonville in the next couple weeks.

Gail, I hope we have great weather when you come up.  You may also want to check out Jetton Park in Cornelius, NC (Just off I-77 exit 28).  It is a waterfront park on Lake Norman with paved and natural walking trails, bicycle rentals, sandy beach area, tennis, children's playground and wonderful pic nic sites).  Another MUST DO that I recommend to all out of town clients and friends.  We usually visit Jetton Parke 6-10 times a year.  We have many parks but these are my 2 favorite.  Expect to see singles laid out by the lake reading, families playing, roller blading and pic-nicking and lots of dogs being walked (on leashes).

Diane, you have to try it out.  I love it and Jetton Park (in Cornelius).  They are both wonderful but totally different.  Have a WONDERFUL weekend.
