Whether we're talking about a visit or buying in Las Vegas people are still coming and happy to be here. I don't work in the casino industry but my son does valet at one of the major casinos and he said he hears the same thing all the time when people step out of their car. "it's good to be in Las Vegas".. Right now the weather is fantastic and people are in the golfing mode. So when you're at the airport you see lots of clubs on the carousels.
Personally, my opinion the air smells so clean and the sun is so warm right now it's hard to stay inside.
Many people are flocking to Vegas for a number of reasons. The casino industry is getting hit hard just like all of us but Vegas is Vegas and people will always be arriving.
I had a client in from out of town, he just flew in to buy and condo and leave and that's exactly what he did. We found him the condo he wanted, I dropped him off at his hotel asked him what he was going to do the rest of his weekend? I asked "perhaps gamble" His comment back was I just did I bought a condo in Las Vegas. I love being a RE/MAX agent in this city.
