WOW! Times are ever changing, and now that the SUN is shining here, buyers are crawling out of the wood work. The big question is, CAN YOU KEEP UP with the current market conditions, guideline changes, stimulus packages, grant programs and law changes? A chunk of every day should be set aside to educate yourself on the latest that is happening in your area. The difference between knowing and not-knowing can make or break a transaction these days.
I don't know about you, but I am GIDDY about the federal tax credit for first time homebuyers. In the State of Utah we have just annouced a State grant program that will help people with a DOWN PAYMENT for a home that is new construction (never occupied)! Now that the down payment assistance programs have all but gone away, this kind of stimulus will make a significant difference in the market here locally.
Make sure that you are up to date with your current market conditions- and attach your self with industry professionals who do the same. Then you can network (maybe over a great lunch) and compare notes! Happy Selling Stimulus Season!
