Bill Cherry, Dallas Broker-Realtor

                                               My 43rd Year Selling Texas

Meet me on the web at www.billcherrybroker.com

One of the most passionate of the concerns of families moving into a new town is making certain they have unbiased information about the various opportunities that are available for educating their children.

Over and above which public schools have the best programs for their children's talents and passions, in Dallas, at least, there is also a large litany of private schools that should be considered.  Some religious-backed, others secular.  Some terribly expensive, others are not.  Some focus on liberal educations and college preparatory.  Others teach the arts.  And there are those that concentrate on sciences and computer technology.

And many have scholarships and financial aid available for a surprising number of students.

How do parents competently wade through this minefield of choices with the assurance they will have a good chance of making the right decision?  That's the common thread.

And it's the one that Realtors do their best to steer clear of because of the fear of they may unintentionally get crosswise with anti-discrimination laws.  But most people want to have an idea as to where they want their children to go to school before they decide the neighborhood in which they want to live.

Many cities have education consultants that help parents get informed, pick the right school for their children's needs, and in the case of private schools, make certain the children's applications are presented in the best light.  And they help parents get their children prepared for the admission's tests.

In Dallas, my retired school counselor and LPC wife Patty Cherry is a very knowledgeable education consultant.  She has served in the Dallas area public and private schools for more than thirty years.  And she has been the Director of Admissions at one of Dallas' most elite schools.

Realtors and their clients are welcome to call or email her to discuss the services she has available and their costs.  I assure you, she is a Cracker Jack!
