By the time we compete the Inspection, you will know the home or commercial property better than the owner does!

Recommended Supplies to include in your Basic Home Emergency Kit:

  • Water at least one gallon per person, per day. For drinking and sanition.
  • Food at least a three day supply, of non perishable food.
  • Battery powered radio and extra batteriies for it.
  • At least one good Flashlight and extra batteries.
  • A First Aid Kit
  • Whistle to sinal for help.
  • A Filter mask or at least a cotton t-shirt, to help filter the air.
  • Some moist toweletts for sanitation.
  • Wrench or pliers to turn off your utilities if need be.
  • A good old manual can opener for canned foods, if you have them in your kit.
  • Plastic sheeting and duck tape so you can make a shelter, if you need to.
  • Garbage bags and plastic ties for personal sanitation.
  • Unique family needs, like any daily prescription medications, infant formula and diapers, and any and all important family documents.

It sure is better to be prepared for any kind of an emergency, that just may come your way. There are just way to many folks, that don't think about what they are going to do. If an emergency would come about for them and their family. Like what to do and how they are going to get out of their home, if a fire would start.

Recently we had to replenish our emergency food supply. The cans were so old they were leaking and oozing! We do make sure we have plenty of water including a 50 gallon barrel of water just for flushing toilets and washing up, lots of batteries and some water purification tablets if things really get rough.

I sure do know, you and our friends Carl and Ceil. Will be prepared for any emergencys, that would come your way. I also keep water purification tablets on hand at home, and in my Jeep. For the life of me, I don't know why I did not put them in the post. I'll have to go back and add them. But not tonight. Hope you are having a real fine week.

Dale - I have to tell a story about Ceil. She writes the dates on every can good she buys, that way she can rotate so you can use up the older cans first.  She keeps allot of extra food in the house for emergencies; sometimes I think too much. Maybe that is why I have to eat more so we can use up all that extra food (ha, ha)

Zilkia - They always come in very handy.

Shirley - If you keep a kid handy, they will sometime's help to keep anything from happing.

Breanda - every home and car really should have Emergency Supplies, in them. You just never know.

Carl - want to know something, we do the same thing in our home. Writing the dates on the can goods, and we also write the date on everyting that goes in to the freezer.

Kent - Thank you for your very kind words. I'll do my best to keep them coming.
