Facts about Bank owned / REO (Real Estate Owned) Properties

  • There are 572,572 REOs Nationwide
  • 65,240 in the State of Florida alone
  • In seminole county there are 850 properties
  • Bank owned homes in Orange county are a whopping 4,975
  • That's almost 6,000 amazing deals on properties in Central Florida

Whether your a first time home buyer, experienced home buyer or investor in the Orlando are you cant deny the fact that there are deals to be had. With almost 6,000 of those deals right here in central florida.

As an REO agent I have the expertise to help get your offers accepted by the banks. Worked with other agents who told you that banks dont do repairs? That's a myth. Currently under contract and getting ready to close a deal where the bank is doing $10,000 worth of repairs to the hope. Another closing a few weeks after putting on a new roof worth $7,000.

I look forward to discussing your real estate needs in the Orlando, Lake Mary and surrounding areas.

Wow, Heather, so Orlando has 10% of Florida's REOs and that doesn't count Osceola County. I'm sure Broker Bryant could give us stats on there. There are some amazing deals and we are beginning to see multiple offers again. ~ Sharon

I've managed many rehab jobs for banks.  It is important to try and get the home into at least financable condition.  Otherwise only cash buyers can buy them.

Great blog,  I visit Orlando monthly and have noticed all of the deals.  How has it been getting to closing.

Hi Heather,

I've been doing a lot with referrals of Canadians south-mainly in Arizona. There's something about the 2-tier tax system in Florida that puts off Canadians though.

Terry - We have homestead exemption but no 2 tier system

Shelton - Great no real problem unless its the buyer backing out because of cold feet.
