Spring Hill Tn New Homes will require Sprinklers in 2011

Spring Hill real estate = According to the codes department on Spring Hill, starting in 2011, all new single family homes will require a sprinkler system. THe fact of the matter is that the additional cost will be passed on to the consumer, and as usual will reflect in a higher cost of home purchases in Spring Hill.

The codes people are saying that it will save lives, but some are saying it's unnecessary. I will keep my opinion to myself, but i do think that home fires in new homes seems to be rare. I see more damage from water pipes leaking than fires, I believe that smoke alarms save lives.

Looks like they are following the way of Nolensville. Nolensville is doing this because at the time, they were using a volunteer fire department. Not the case with Spring Hill...

Larry,

Is this a requirement of the new southern building code?

Larry,

Sorry I missed class today. I had some last minute showings. I feel that missing ONE class is like missing just ONE episode of LOST.

Michael - I think Spring Hill codes has decided to make it very expensive to build a home.

Mike - I'm not sure what to think.

Stephen - We have some interesting discussions, I'll fill you in the next time we meet.
