Mary,
I almost forgot myself. I usually post on Wednesdays lots earlier than this. She has grown quite a bit since then. It was one of those kinds of shots that you begin thinking should I drop the camera and go save her before she.... but she was just fine. She loves the water but this was one cold lake. Thanks for commenting.
Tony & Darcy,
Thanks for your comment. You guys are always kind to comment.
Randy--That shot is so adorable. It reminds me of when my daughter was little and we'd spend endless hours on Donner Lake. She got her drivers license last month... enjoy every single moment while you can!
Randy, gorgeous shot! Your daughter looks so cute out there on that little sand peninsula and I can see she is really enjoying the beauty, quiet and nature:-)
Randy, very nice photo of your daughter. She looks like she is really enjoying the moment.
That's a really pretty photo! One day, you'll be happy you had your camera in your hand at that moment!
Hi Randy,
What a great photo, and what a little cutie. That photo looks like a treasure for more years to come.
Tamara,
The one in the picture is now 9. It seems like overnight it has happened. She is a riot. She keeps us hopping.
Debra,
Thanks for the compliment. It is nice when a shot like this just comes together. I don't know how many time I have seen a shot like this and not had a camera near me.
Michael,
You are right about her enjoying the moment. She gets the most out of most everything she does. Thanks for your comment.
Toula,
Thank you. I appreciate your compliments. It is hard to capture a picture of her that she doesn't come up with a crazy pose.
Bruce & Mary,
This is already one of those days. I try to carry a camera with me as often as possible just for such occassions. Thanks for your comment.
Lynda,
Certainly is a photo I will cherish for a long while. Thanks for your compliment.
Hey Randy, that's a very cute photo of your little girl at the water's edge. Thanks for sharing!
Teresa,
It is Yellowstone Lake. It looks pretty clean but I don't think I would drink it straight from the lake. Thanks for your comment.
Debi,
That is my daughter in the picture. She is now 9, and I don't know how it happened so fast. Ever been to Yellowstone?
