Thanks Robert... We are usually above the fog line and it makes for some interesting shots.

Hi Miss Tamara:  I love all 3 of the pictures you posted (Murray made it home, I see).....but this one really does something to me.  I can't explain it, it's very ethereal...otherworldly....the world of nature and God, where man is but a guest.  BEAUTIFUL!!!

Hi Gail--Actually, these are all historical Murray shots... All this photog blogging has rekindled my interest and I've been going thru the archives as I haven't been out shooting too much with the hairline fracture in the elbow...

Yes, this image has such an etheral quality... experiencing it is even more amazing, as it rises up the mountain and then breaks into the bluest sky you've ever seen!  I think man can be viewed as both a guest and a pest!!! ;- )

Lovely, I will re-use the word ethereal, "airy fairy" in a good way! You can feel the quiet in photos like this.

Grat shot, Tamara! I realize it's just fog, but with all the fires we've had the past few years, it's also a little eerie looking.

Hi Cheryl--I definitely prefer etheral to Michael's eerie...!

Hmmm Michael--I do see what you mean... Hadn't even thought of that until you mentioned it.  I am always lost in the moist air of the experience when I look at the shot....

Oops. Sorry about that. Would you believe I meant eerie in a good way? No? Well... then would you believe I was just having one of those days?  ; )

Hi Michael--I had tried to post a comment in response the other evening, but kept getting told that they were busy and I couldn't get in!  I have never connected eerie with "in a good way!"  ;-)  But as I mentioned, it wouldn't take much to have a similar view when fire season starts....

Hi Lynn--Yes, thank goodness!  We've been getting some rain and snow and it's so good for helping push the fire season further back....  Wish us luck this summer!  Hope you are doing well and having a great weekend!
