Following dinner they all were ushered into the auditorium for a sneak peek at "Footloose". I was not able to see the whole thing as I was busy helping out in the back but it sounded great and the senior citizens loved it. I think you are in for a treat if you are able to make it to one of three performances this weekend. Opening night is Friday, curtain at 8:00 PM, and there are two performances Saturday at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Cast and crew went off to school this morning wearing t-shirts to promote the musical to the other students at the school. Many of them glamed it up 80's style. I took a photo of my daughter on her way out the door but she grabbed the camera to use at school before I could download the shot. (I hope to add it to the post later today, check back!)
All in all it makes me glad to be a part of a community that cares. The Pine Bush Central School District brings together residents from parts of 3 counties and many villages and towns. All were represented last night in generous donations and by the senior citizens who came out to enjoy this event. Come on out and see the show this weekend. The ticket sales support future drama and musical events at the school.
