This leadership summit aims to create collaborative solutions that shape the future of Southern California.  It is designed to address key issues and opportunities facing elected local and tribal officials, business leaders, non-governmental organizations, and those interested in comprehensive regional planning to improve Southern California's quality of life.

Co-hosted by the San Diego Association of Governments, the Southern California Association of Governments, the Western Riverside Council of Governments, the Orange County Business Council, and the San Diego .Regional Economic Development Corporation.


Immediately following the summit, the American Planning Association (APA) will hold a regional field hearing as part of its National Infrastructure Investment Task Force: Rebuilding America initiative.  The hearing is one in a series being held around the country to convene regional leaders, planners, issue experts, academics, allied professionals, and engaged citizens to identify major issues of local regional concern related to infrastructure policy and investment.  An opening panel of experts in the fields of planning, infrastructure, energy use, and sustainability will discuss the state of infrastructure in Southern California and offer thoughts on policy and practice recommendations.
