Robert Swetz (Vegas Bob) might be traveling through your State & City!

I will be finishing a huge job on "The Strip" in the next month or two and then I will be doing some serious traveling with my cameras in hand.

In late May I will be headed to Northern California and pay a visit to (Jessica Bigger) in Eureka California. Camp in the redwoods and drive down the coast as far as Ventura California just north of Los Angeles.

If there are any Activerain members that live between Eureka & Ventura please leave me a comment with your contact information and if you not to busy when I cruise through your town or city, lunch is on me.

Then in early June I will be driving through the middle of Arizona, through New Mexico, northern Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa on into Minnesota.

After my stay in Northern Minnesota I will be driving through South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and back to Las Vegas Nevada.

Once again if you are in any of these areas please leave me a comment because I want to hook up with as many Activerain members as I can and buy you lunch.

I would also like to thank all my friends from Activerain for all your comments to my blogs. With around 30 groups of my own it sometimes gets very difficult for me to reply back to your comments. I do the best I can and spend around 3 - 4 hours per day on the Activerain network.

I have left all of you a very beautiful photograph of a camp area just around the corner of Black's Canyon at The Hoover Dam at Lake Mead Nevada. This camp area is a very beautiful place that gets wonderful sunsets.

Wow Bob that is some serious caravaning. I havent been on a good road trip for a year now. Last one was from Dallas Texas all the way home to Alberta Canada. I think I will do a driving tour of Yellowstone again this year, but that is the extent of my planned road trips for the summer so far.

Hi Bob, what no CT in your future!!! Sounds like a great trip, the little green monster in me is trying to rear her ugly head. But, I will keep the bitch in check, LOL, and wish you the absolute best picture taking journey of all time!!!

Now, about that picture of Lake Meade. I think I was there in the 70's, college times, took a trip with a bunch of friends. We dropped some guys off in the middle of the night with a raft on the Colorado River, on a Reservation (highly illegal), we were in a pickup truck, most of us riding the whole way from AZ in the back of the truck. Anyway, we were to wait for them at Lake Meade. So, we landed at night, drank a whole bunch of Wild Turkey (shuddering at the thought of THAT) had NOT packed any food, or ate it all, or lost it out of the truck bed, who knows... anyway, woke up the next morning feeling a bit under the weather, SURROUNDED by RV's. It was the Good Samaritan Club, there must have been a hundred of them there! They took pity on us, fed us, tolerated us until our friends arrived safely on Lake Meade. I swear, that is the exact place we spent those few days with the Good Samaritan Club!!!

Bob - Ok - we have to do some recreational hiking in the Redwoods - Oh actually I have a better idea - how about a picnic on the coast up at Redwood National Park :) I discovered a really neat little picnic area with awesome ocean views. What do you think? Oh and yes we'll do some real estate looking too. I'll be around most of May.

Jessica- Sounds good to me and I will take many wonderful photographs and post them to the Activerain network!

ROBERT..don't you like the East Coast? Well if you ever decide to come out this way be sure to let me know..you had me going there....No free lunch for me...lol smile

I didn't see Tahoe on the itinerary, but it's not that far away... or maybe we could get together in Napa! I'm betweent the 2 about 50/50, so you should be able to catch me in one or both places!

Hannah - I really don't get to the East Coast much, but if I ever do I will make sure to look you up!

Tony - I am a West coast man and crazy about California. Maybe in the future some time I will have to hit the East coast, and no you people from the East coast don't smell!
