Have you heard of The 9-12 Project?
It was started by Glenn Beck and the web-site launched yesterday. The problem is the site has been down with so many folks trying to log on.In Glenn’s words, the 9-12 Project "is designed to bring us all back to the place we were on Sept. 12, 2001," when America was "not obsessed with red states, blue states or political parties."
I am in the midst of reading the book, The Tipping Point, by Malcolm Gladwell and pondering if this could be a tipping point.....
The Tipping Point's premise is "that magical moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips and spreads like wildfire."
The Nine Principles
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

Gratitude
As Glenn Beck said and I agree this in not about the Donkey or the Elephant, this is about the Principals and Values our country was founded on. It is about they way we all came together after 9-11. We were not a political party but Americans.The problems we are suffering from in our nation can only be solved when we return to the values that made our nation great. The rest is just a band aid.
