Every morning, you have your routine. Alarm. Feed crying cat. Make coffee.

Get kids fed as they wander one by one down to the kitchen. Turn on XM, get paper, scan and hit the last thing, the comics. Drink two cups of the brown stuff during the process. Watch the clock, hop in the shower at about the same time and then like the Jetson's, whirl off to work on the beltway. (I am lucky, 32 foot trip from home to office other than summers when the trek is nine miles to a lake home.)

     The funnies. The comics. You always go to your favorite strip first right? And then as time allows, you check in with the next favorite and so on. Maybe some of you do top to bottom or some other cover the page approach. Many don't read them all however. Partly from lack of interest or time. We are creatures of habit. Some strips you have never read. It's the same in a blog roll like ActiveRain. My eyes scan for my favorites. Sometimes for information in a particular niche, other times for motivation, laughter, in sight. A few bloggers are one flavor and that is not bad. You just know what that smiling face will deliver when you double click  from experience. It's going to feature something along pre-determined lines. Other blog contributors are more complex and basically more prolific bloggers.  Active bloggers are like a snow gun at a Maine ski area. Steady stream. Production. Information being fed to the surfers on the internet and being gobbled up by search engine spiders hungry for new fresh details, opinions, comments and links.

     Other bloggers still are just not on radar. Not for lack of quality or missing getting their share of attention. Absence at the table just from lack of production and not being active participants. It is fun to stumble onto a headline that grabs your attention or a blog that is timely from a new fresh provider. Sometimes it is a name or logo or face you have seen but only visited a few times. That is not a regular haunt in your trot or scan down the blogger buffet line or what's to select today.  If someone had to classify your blogging style, content, humor and depth, what would they say? Like an athelete your strong point might be local coverage of your community with a little real estate related posts here and there. Another is totally mortgages, financing. Still another AR soldier is Mr or Mrs Hi Tech explaining how to embed a video, add a ping to your outside blog or how to load a word press theme's plug ins. Some bloggers have been here so long, have so many badges and points...they are the Paul Harvey, Art Linkletter, Dr Phil's of the group leading the way. They are fixtures, household names because they are parked at the top of the pile from longevity, being prolific and communication thru blogs.
