Hey guys, look i have always been optimistic about life, if you know me then you understand however...

The market in general between the years of 1929-1933 was horrific also, why? because we had bank failures left and right.  And this "depression" lasted more than 10 years until we got out of it because of a war.

The point im trying to make is simple we are in that crisis right now.  this is NOT a normal "bear" market.  This downturn will be longer and more drawn out than any other downturn that we as real estate professionals have witnessed. 

Overall though everyone needs a place to stay, personally the areas right outside big cities where there are cheaper prices to rent or even buy, people will flock to. Bottomline theres always a stable steady market somewhere and i believe this is where it will happen.

If you can build a real estate business now, you will be king or queen of your area come the time we turn around. :)

Smart people figure out how to make money when the market is up and when the market is down.  The opportunity for wealth is greatly increased for those few who can see it, in a down market.  A lot of people are getting wealthy right now, even as the press is espousing the gravity of our markets....
