A new website was launched this week makinghomeaffordable.gov- designed to help homeowners get a better understanding of President Obama's Mortgage Relief Plan.
Under the plan are two available programs:
Refinancing - Is available to homeowners that have had a good payment history but unable to refinance due to the home's current value.
Loan Modification - Will help homeowners that are at-risk avoid foreclosure.
Information needed to research your options can be found on the Making Home Affordable website.
The important thing to realize is - don't wait help is available.
