Inspirational Power Quote

Planning for Tomorrow Starts with Planning Today

"The best time to plant a tree

was 20 years ago.

The next best time is now."

 Chinese proverb

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Planning for our future starts with planning today.

We can always look back with regret on missed opportunities and the things that we did not do.

The key to our future is not to dwell on the past or to repeat the missed opportunities of the past but to use our past experiences as a learning experience for the future.

Planning for our future is planning for our success.

The best time to begin planning for our future is today. Begin by laying out the roadmap for your success journey.

Know where you want your success journey to take you and how you'll get there.

Invest your time in planning before you start your journey. The time invested in planning will give you better direction, shorten your journey, and keep you on course.

HI LOU!  I once heard a motivational speaker encourage people to use the 10 - 10 - 10 rule:  with every decision and action think about the impact it will have in 10 minutes, 10 months and 10 years. Nice thought for tonight!  -- Gabrielle

Lou, why shorten the journey? Is it not the journey vs the Destination?

Hi Lou—There is a grand plan, but if we do not do our part for our life plan it's no one's fault except our own. Planning always pays off... then when something spontaneous occurs you actually have time to enjoy and appreciate it... otherwise you may miss it! Thanks for an inspiriing post. Have a great weekend!

What a GREAT quote.

I try to avoid having regrets in my life.  One of the ways I do this is by acting in the "now".  That way I don't have to worry tomorrow about not doing something today. :)

I have read many good proverbs in my day, but I have never heard this one before. However, it does bring a smile to my face and certainly rings true.
