Looking for a new Furry Friend? Then stop by One Lucky Mutt in lovely Wildwood, Missouri to check out the Golden Retriever Adoption Day.

The event will take place on on March 28th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Dirk's Fund Golden Retriever Rescue will be there to show off and talk about the adoption of one of their awesome pups/dogs.

Come early you never know...your new furry friend my be waiting for you.

The Dirk Fund is a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation and donations of money and/or land are tax deductible. So if you do not need a pet, they could use help with the work they have been doing for the last 10 years. You can learn more about them here: http://www.dirksfund.com .

Ann - cool, if I lived in the area I would certainly be checking it out. I don't think we have anything quite like it here.

It is pretty cool. I adopted my last pet from the Humane Society but it is a long way from home. This is so close and they seem to really care about the animals they rescue.

Ann - Sounds like a great event. We support a similar organization in the City - Stray Rescue. We are lucky to have great groups like these in our communities.
