I am the only blond of three gorgeously brunette daughters. They are the epitome of femininity; I climb trees.

Their lives are a testimonial for stability and consistency; for the first time in my life I haven't packed up everything I own in over six months!

My sisters are married nurses with perfect husbands and perfect children. I have a knack for the "complicated type".

Most women my age are attending baby showers, bridals showers, I am excited when I have time to TAKE A SHOWER.

Many real estate professionals are leaving the industry in the midst of what the media describes as the worst housing market ever.

I am opening a BRAND NEW real estate company.

Oh well.

I am excited. Never before have I followed the crowd, why start now...right?

I refuse to feel out of step but in step for my life.  We may dance to a different beat at times but at least we are dancing, enjoying our moment of being busy and our choices.  I'm the only girl with two brothers, love tree climbing but they did not.  I'm sure others are jealous of your spirit and ability to take a chance and be brave to open your own company, be yourself.  That is what makes you special.  No copy of a masterpiece but the original!  Best wishes as all falls in place and you can step back and smile.  What a great life!

I never stayed 'within the lines' either.  My mom always said I definitely heard a different drummer in my head, but she encouraged that part of me.  It's a good thing to be your own person - to think independently and act responsibly.  So you're a bit of a renegade ... that's a GOOD thing.

I'm wishing you nothing but huge success in your new endeavor.  I know you will help many to achieve their goals and dreams.

Cherimie,  You are not going by the stereotypical 'blond' path.  It takes plenty of guts to open a new business.  All the best.

Desire + drive + determination + dependability = success

My sister got her real estate license in 1978 - she sold every home in her subdivision (all phases) over the next three years. Then she went to a new subdivision where the builder had the DDDD to build when rates were in the high teens. She sold every home in that subdivision with not one rate under 13% - you can do it!

The office looks awesome Cherimie.  I wish you luck.  When you find a place to call home you move right in and the rest of your life will fall in place.  It looks like you have found that home now the rest will come(it may not be traditional but it will be perfect for you).  Good Luck!

Cherimie,

Great office!! Good luck and I know you will make it a success!!!

Congratulations on the new office, sounds like a great way to wake up in the morning.

I don't own the office I work in, but the guy/friend who does has created a pretty good workplace.  When I come into the my office it is as if I am "renting space"; I mean that in a positive way.  We have all the resources we need.  We are grownups so it is implied we know how to accomplish our goals; however, if we need guidance/help we have a great team with a variety of strengths.

In my opinion you are absolutely on track.  Life does have plenty of challenges and possible "stressors".  I believe my journey is my destiny and all lifes events are either learning or teaching opportunities - so why take it so seriousely; it's suppose to be this way.

Good luck.

the beat of a different drummer!  The real question is " (of the 4 sisters) which of you is truly happy?"

I would bet the answer to that would be you, but the brunettes may never admit it openly.
