This week I received a Lifetime Membership award in the Presidents Round-table from the West Maricopa County Regional Association of REALTORS® (WeMAR). I received the lifetime award for three years of consistent top-producing sales volume. I also was awarded the 2008 Presidents Round-table award for Sales Excellence. WeMAR has over 2,000 active Realtor® members. Both awards were made possible by my 2008 sales volume, which is a direct result of my wonderful clients, who have continuously referred friends, family and acquaintances to me.
I obtained my real estate license on December 15, 2004. My production levels has increased each year since. After the awards ceremony I was asked how did you do it and what does it take to be a top producer.
- It's all about referrals. Without all of my past clients, I could have not achieved such honors. I appreciate all of my clients, their referrals and their support and I thank them very much.
- It's all about people. I enjoy working with people. I get my joy from seeing people happy and satisfied when I find them the right house.
- It's about being honest with buyers and sellers. Not giving them unrealistic or irrational expectations.
- It's all about processes. Processes have been developed for all scenarios. I have checklists galore.
- It's all about marketing. Market yourself in all venues, internet, Active Rain, social networking, websites, blogs and print.
- It's all about knowing your market and your product. Meticulasly knowing what model sold for, its location, upgrades as well as positives and negatives.
- It's all about having a great specialty team that supports your interests. This includes my assistant, accountant, attorney and general manager.
- It's all about relationships. Having positive meaningful relationship with other Realtors®.
- It's all about hard work. Not being afraid to work 10 hours a day and wake up to do it all over again.
Would I do it even if there was no award, yes it's all about the people.
