To capture an image of a website “Super Screenshot” is a handy tool. No registration or software to download and so many possibilities!
It’s almost as easy as typing the URL into the search bar and clicking “go”. Once the Super Screenshot appears, you can change the size, file type or refresh with a click of your mouse. - right click to save
one Idea for the road though you’ll likely come up with plenty of your own:
Create a gallery for your blog/post or website and link each image to details or more online info - i.e.
Teresa, I clicked on it and am not really sure what it does. Is it supposed to match the url to a particular subject? I guess I'll play with it further. Thank you.
Wow! Cool for you PC users. It would be nice if PC had the MAC function of (shift+cmd+4) to do a screen shot. Sorry this does not work on a PC, I've tried...
I can't remember what I have used before to capture screen shots. I was just wondering today. I just saved my outside blogs and my website and my companies websites. I did a post on my WordPress blog about the changes over the years on my brokerages website using the Wayback machine but I wanted a current screen shot. Got em all now thanks to this post.
Hey, this is cooooool! I am going over right now and see what I can find. I love your coffee beans, mine are already ground and I am sipping as I type...
Kevin - doesn't search for subject matter but can generate a basic "snapshot" in time of the web page address you give it .... Just visited Maureen McCabe's wordpress blog that has an example of a screenshot http://columbusbestblog.com/ - CORRECTION this could have come in handy (another method used for the slideshow see comment in the post) another comment from Gabe shared that software with more "robust" features can be purchased if you're interested he mentioned Snagit as one nice of you to stop by thanks:)
Michael - hear there may be another way? :)
Maureen - Hey you! It may have even been this site that you used because I read it's been around since '07...so who knows? I just visited your wordpress blog btw NICELY DONE! Great slide show presentation - hope it's ok that I pasted a link to your blog in the comments here as a "Live" example - if not you know where to find me? :) thanks Maureen!
Bob -nice of you to say hello and if it comes in handy....right on! :)
Richard - thank you and for the copyright reminder also! :)
Gabe - sure! Also appreciate you letting us know there are more robust functions now available from other software to purchase -heard about snagit - might have to check that out and will share your tip :)
Dorie - you're most welcome, thanks for stopping in :)
Evelyn - right on! How FUN to have coffee with you this morning on AR :) Happy Day!
I don't think I have used this I may have done Alt + Prt Scr etc. on my old computer...
Teresa just the screen shot on the bottom of my post is with this tool... the rest of them I had used the snipping tool on my computer and then Piknic Picnik to reduce them... that's when I read your post.
It would have been faster to use the Wayback Machine to find the old screen shots , and Super Screen Shot....
Teresa, LOVE this! I have Snag It and it's too darn hard for me, at times. This is so great! Love the price :) Can't beat free! Thanks for passing this along to all of us!
