Time To Start Working On The Yard

By

My wife loves to work on our yard in West Laurel MarylandI love to watch her work on the yard.  Now that Spring is here my wife is busy planing and shopping for what she wants to do to the yard.  One of her favorite places to look for plants is Fehr's Nursery and Garden Center in Burtonsville.

My wife and I were at Fehr's Nursery yesterday looking for lettuce we plan to plant and eventually eat this Spring.  Fehr's Nursery and Garden Center located at 4340 Sandy Spring Road (Route 198) in Burtonsville is just short distance from Laurel Maryland.  While we were at Fehr's Nursery, we had a chance to chat with Walter Fehr and his son Brian.  The Fehr's were offering advice when would be a good time to buy the lettuce.  They should know what they are talking about.  The Fehrs have been in business since 1939.

In the past, my wife has bought many beautiful plants from Fehr's Nursery.  My favorites are the hanging plants or the Mother's Day tree we bought my spouse.  I don't know plants that well, just colors.  I love seeing purple and white flowers together.  Last year my wife planted Redskin colors around our mailbox.

This Spring, Fehr's Nursery and Garden Center is a good place to visit. Your yard will appreciate it.

My husband and I are the opposite - he definitely has the green thumb in the family - I have neighbors calling asking me how I get 'my yard' so green...I have no idea....That is all Chris I tell them....It looks beautiful and the azeleas are blooming!  Spring is here!
