Get your home SOLDLake Norman home selling tip faster in the Lake Norman, Mooresville and Charlotte markets by having great curb appeal.  You have to get the buyer in the  house before you can move forward.

Interior staging and a good floorplan is important but is no good if you can't get the buyer to enter the home.

Pay special attention to the front porch/stoop area.  The buyer is checking everything out as there agent is opening the lockbox.

Make sure there are no cobwebs.  Putting pots on the front porch area with plantings can help. You may need to replace the front door or paint the door and replace door handle and lock.

If they don't go in, they won't buy it.  Thank you for the tip.  I will pass it on to all of my clients.  I cannot seem to get anyone to pay for home staging.  I wish you the best.

I know Nate, not many want to put in the extra $.  But they must keep the lawn nice, trim the bushes and clean up around the door entrance at the very least.  It may not get them more $ but will help theres to be chosen over the one without the curb appeal.  With a good first impression you walk in with a positive feeling verses a negative feeling.

The worst thing to happen is to drive up to home and have the prospective buyer refuse to get out of the car.  I have had that happen and usually I am able to convince the buyer to at least take a peak but there has been times were I flat out did not argue the point.  Good Info.

Vanessa, I try to encourage them to go in as well.  Some refuse and say if outside is that bad they don't want to see the inside.  Even the ones who do go in have a very negative outlook on everythiing as they walk thru.

Wendy, you are sooo right. If they don't see the potential, on the outside, they may not see the potential inside!

One of my listings, was just sitting then the seller put in black mulch, you wouldn't have believed the difference.

Yes Connie, I know.  I've experienced it too.  We just have to get the word out to the sellers.  MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!!

I try to express to seller that if the curb appeal isn't there, buyers won't want to come inside.  The "staging" has to start outside!
