I might actually like doing open houses if someone came to visit me and brought me some goodies to eat!!
I have an open house this weekend. Will you come to the Midwest with your bag of goodies. I would be ALL over that.
What a great idea George, I wish someone would do that around here.
Patty Rufo, William Raveis RE, Osterville, MA.
James, now that is a great idea, I will see what I can do :)
Ismael, I like that.
Rolland, hold an Open House in my area and I will be happy to stop by with a kit for you.
Kati, let me know how it works for you.
Jim I usually let the Realtor dictate the conversation when I stop by, and am happy to talk about what ever they want.
April, you assume correctly, I do my best to make every borrower feel like they are the most important one.
Maya, thank you.
Ines, I hope that Mike got the message :)
Vickie, I would love for the Realtors whose Open Houses that I stop at would respond that way.
Bill thank you
Bob, when they see me coming throw the door, they are already expecting the goodies.
Elleen, it does seem to stick out in there minds, and they remember the name after that.
Sherry I hope you remember her with your next referral.
Mike I hope you do, I think you will find it very well received.
Christine, yes I think they do.
Mark if you was there I would stop by with one.
Bruce, great to see you here in the Rain. We need to get together. Expect a call and we will set up a time for me to show you how to get your picture on here as well as a few other things.
TLW if I was closer I would gladly give you a hand with the boxes, and you should have taken my idea about the note :)
Gabe that is always helpful.
Mary ...... LOL, food is a good way to get to a Realtors heart.
Cindy, I am happy to hear that, and I would expect him to take great care of your Buyer.
Dana, I would like to think that I am one of those Loan Officers.
Steven, glad to hear that.
Blake they do seem to appreciate what I do.
Beverly, I will see if I can arrange that :)
DeAndrea, that is why I bring it. Most open up the water right away.
Barb, I would say that it seems to be 50 - 50.
Gene you don't look like a lonely guy to me ..... LOL
Dave I will take a look at it.
Mary give him the idea :)
Joan, glad that there are others doing it, and I like the idea of the imprint on the bags.
Ann, it has been very well received.
Amy I know you will, and let me know how it turns out.
Dotti, let you Loan Officer know about this and maybe he/she will stop by.
Gina ......LOL I would love to, but I would have to get a really early start in the morning ....... LOL
Patty, maybe one of your Loan Officers will read this and stop by with one :)
I had a lender bring me a *kit* like that on a hot day. Was wonderful and I did remember him - still do.
Sharon
Century 21 Olde Tyme
George, I have done that for a few years now, it is a great way to meet agents! The one thing you forgot in your kit is a pack of mints or gum!
George, what a great idea! I'm sure folks remember you better with that technique than an office visit on a busy day
Sharon, I freeze the water the night before so that it is ice cold on HOT days.
Robert, good idea, thank you.
Kate it does seem to work better :)
George---That is such a wonderful and thoughtful idea. I would certainly remember you. I usually have my husband drop something off and bodyguard while he is there.
Robin
Robin if I dropped one off, I guess would have to stand watch over your husband to make sure he didn't eat it :)
George: We have actually met several lenders, inspectors, and other individuals realted to the real estate business when sitting open houses. We agree it's a great way to make new contacts.
I love that little bag of goodies. Thoughtful and it also shows that you are a hard worker by being out on Sunday!
Great idea that I will share with my husband who is a home inspector!
Carrie & Kathy thank you for adding that comment.
Cristal, once I stop by they believe me when I tell them that I am available 7 days a weeks :)
