With the economy the way it is, one might think, where is the best place to live in America? Well according to a national year long study by Gallup and Disease management company, Healthways, Utah is the best place to live in America.
The study included every state and there were 350,000 participants. The study was conducted via phone . Each state had a different number of people surveyed based on population, California for example, had 37,000 surveyed vs. 950 people surveyed in North Dakota.
With Utah being the best place to live in America...does that mean Logan Utah is the best place to live in Utah?
I would say yes! Of course I am a bit biased, considering I live in Logan, Utah. But let's look at the facts for a minute to see if I can back up my statement.
Why Logan Utah Is The Best Place To Live In Utah
Lowest unemployment rate in Utah, 2nd lowest in the country at 2.4%. (Utah unemployment rate is 4.6%, the US unemployment rate is nearing 8%)
Only Utah Real Estate market to have increased home values in 2008. (1.9% increase in Logan, Utah. The state of Utah had a 6.0% decrease)
Logan, Utah was voted 3rd safest place to live in small communities with less than 150,000 people.
Not only is the real estate market holding strong in Cache Valley, but our residents are happy to be here.
