I'm glad that some members look forward to this weekly trivia. This blog is for you then. I'm hoping this breaks up ones day, and that it brings some fun to your day. With this, it is once again Tuesday, which means it is time for the next installment of Tuesday's Weekly Trivia. This week's trivia question will be around television. Teresa Harris mentioned she would like to see this category again.. so this one is for you Teresa.

If you are not sure of the answer, just give it a shot.. you never know, you could be right.

well... I was tempted to say Mary Tyler Moore, and/or Mash... but those were much earlier.... so I'm gonna guess Cheers, which I think ended. with much fanfare, around that time.

Oh Man!!! I forgot all about Cheers! You guys are probably right.

Valerie, this is a tough one, because their has been a number of good sitcoms over the years and this goes back 16 years. But by looking at the answers that have above I would say that Mash was to early, Seinfeld and one that no one has mentioned yet Friends would have been later then 1993. So I would go with Toula, and Alan's answer of Cheers which is still on by the way, but would have had its final episode right around 1993.

I am Pretty sure it still holds some kind of record for the viewing audience...M.A.S.H. is my guess.

I have to guess Cheers, but with my luck that probably happened in either 92 or 94.

Valerie - I'm thinking that it was Cheers, but I'm not sure..I didn't watch it, but I remember hearing a lot about it. :)

I'm going to guess the Cosby show. Don't really know why. I NEVER watched a single episode first run (worked evenings at the time).

My first guess is Cheers. Although I watched the show regularly, I didn't realize it was that popular.

I'm gonna go with 'Seinfeld' because the timing seems to be about right. That was a great show - I wish they would do a 'reunion' episode :)

I'm going with Cosby or Cheers. MASH was the highest rated TV series finale in history, but that was in the early '80s (I actually wrote about it in my diary). Seinfeld didn't end until the mid-late '90s. I watch alot of TV. (hang my head in semi-shame with a sheepish grin on my face).

Alan.. This now makes to members that think the answer is Cheers. Frankly, I have no clue when that show ended... so my quess would be as good as yours.

Nice comment. A lot of thought went into it. So, you are agreeing with Toula & Dan, and going with Cheers. So this makes three for Cheers and one for MASH, and one for Seinfeld.

Debi..The answer of Cheers seems to be the general consensus. I personally think the answer is M.A.S.H. We'll see shortly who is right. :)

Tammy.. I'm glad to see that another answer has come up as a thought. The Crosby show, I thought was in the 80's? Maybe it started in the 80's and ended in '93.

Lydia... I watched Cheers every now and then.. not on a regular basis... I didn't think it had that much appeal, but I guess I was wrong.

Kara.. Seinfeld was a great show. Can you imagine if they did a reunion.. or continue where they left off when they were in jail. They could show the before (when they first went in) and you would see them now, as of today.... as they are being released. I think that would be a cool idea.
