About Bonnie

Actively involved in the Summit County community, the REALTOR organization, and the Exclusive Summit County member of the Board of Regentsfor Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate, Bonnie Smith, ABR, CIPS, CRB, CRS, GRI, MRE, RSPS, ALHS, TRC is Owner and Managing Broker of Exclusive Mountain Retreats Real Estate in Breckenridge, Colorado. She serves as President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers, a National Association of REALTORS Director in an At-Large position for Colorado, and Vice President of the Western Mountain Resort Alliance for NAR Resort section. She is a 2010 graduate of the National Asso9ciation of REALTORS' Leadership Academy.

She was 2007 REALTOR of the Year and 2005 President of the Summit Association of REALTORS, and 2007 District Vice President for the Colorado Association of REALTORS. In 2007 she was inducted into the National Association of REALTORS RPAC Hall of Fame. Additionally, she is on the Board of Regents for Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate and is the Exclusive Regent for Summit County. She served on the Breckenridge Economic Development Commission.

A graduate of Boston College and participant in the Executive MBA program at Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Bonnie puts a premium on education. She holds the ABR, CIPS, CRB, CRS, GRI, MRE, RSPS, ALHS. and TRC designations.

Her work resume includes corporate and field marketing experience, most recently as Vice President of Marketing, Advertising and Planning for a Fortune 100 company. Additionally, she was President of an independent consulting firm, specializing in marketing and management counseling. She has taught sales, marketing, and computer training classes and lectured on motivation, management, and marketing throughout the US and Canada. Her commercial real estate experience includes development, space planning, and purchase and leasing.

Bonnie has resided in Summit County for the past twenty-four years. As a longtime local, life in Summit County is a blend of working and playing with a focus on community. She came to Summit County from the Boston area on a "sabbatical" from Corporate life. Bonnie continues to play music with several versions of her band. They still gig around Summit County and even enjoyed a year-long music tour of Australia.

Bonnie has been a strong supporter of the Summit Foundation and has been active in various roles with this charitable organization. Bonnie also is past President of the BRC Ambassadors, has chaired several Summit High scholarship committees, is a past Board member of the Breck Festival of Film, a past chair of the Summit Association of Realtors' Charitable Fund, and coached Youth Hockey for seventeen years.
