Who We Are and What We Do:
We are a research and information company offering timely, cost-efficient services to the legal, financial, real estate and insurance industries. Our company has been providing quality search and abstract services to the land title industry in Westmoreland and surrounding counties since 2001. Local, regional and national lenders, title insurers and law firms look to us for timely, accurate real estate information, courthouse research and paralegal support services. Recognizing the realities of today's business climate, we have also begun offering a specialized suite of search services focusing on the needs of default and REO servicers as well as foreclosure and bankruptcy attorneys.
Our "hands-on" approach to public records research has made us southwestern Pennsylvania's premier provider of insured real estate information, mortgage recording services and settlement solutions, offering direct coverage of more counties than any regional competitor. Our exclusive Real-T-SMARTTM Search Reports deliver the most accurate, up-to-date title information available, with every search being conducted by a local abstractor who physically visits each courthouse and is intimately familiar with the peculiarities of the local indexing system. We NEVER rely on online indices or outsourcing to overseas "thin" title plants to produce our search products. We are equipped to send and receive orders via fax or email for your convenience. Our pricing is extremely competitive, featuring generous volume discounts for our Preferred Clients.
About the Owner...
Scott L. Perry, a graduate of Western School of Health and Business Careers in Pittsburgh, PA, holds an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies as well as a Paralegal Certificate. Mr. Perry has an extensive legal background, having worked in a number of law firms and corporate legal departments. He has been involved in the land title industry for over thirteen years.
Mr. Perry began his paralegal career in 1992 as a Litigation Support Specialist working on a series of high-profile product liability and toxic tort cases in which he assisted with discovery production and review of documents for privilege and responsiveness. His introduction to the title industry came in 1996 as a Closing Coordinator for a vendor management company, where he was responsible for pre-closing document preparation, settlement scheduling and customer service.
After several years as an in-house Title Examiner for a Philadelphia-based title agency, Mr. Perry founded Jireh Business Information Solutions, Inc., a company specializing in title research and related paralegal services. An innovator and entrepreneur, his was the first company in the southwestern Pennsylvania region to introduce the concept of "mobile field offices", vehicles equipped with portable computers and printers able to deliver a finished search product direct from the courthouse to the customer in "real time".
In March 2004, Mr. Perry conceived of and co-founded the National Association of Land Title Examiners and Abstractors (NALTEA), the first and only nationwide trade industry group devoted exclusively to the concerns of real estate title examiners and abstractors. As one of the founding members of its Board of Directors, he was responsible for helping to define NALTEA's objectives, authoring its Mission Statement and crafting a significant portion of its Bylaws.
A lifelong resident of southwestern Pennsylvania, Mr. Perry is an active community leader. He serves as a Deacon at the Suburban Community Church in Irwin, PA where he leads an outreach group ministering to the needs of the homeless and underprivileged in the greater Pittsburgh region. He is also certified as a Critical Response Support Team Chaplain by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. A veteran of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Mr. Perry is a staunch supporter of veterans' causes and has organized events to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project, a private non-profit group which assists combat-injured service members by providing them with counseling services and financial support in their transition back to civilian life.
