If you are a buyer, know that I will search for homes for you. I will, of course, watch for listings that match your needs on the MLS. But, in addition, I scour the Internet and the newspapers, looking for houses that are for sale but may not be on the MLS. It is not unusual for me to call the owner of a vacant house to see if my buyers can go inside. I will advertise to an entire neighborhood, looking for a house because my buyer wants to be in THAT neighborhood but can't find the right house on the MLS.
If you are a seller, know that I will work diligently to sell your home. I will, of course, list your home in the MLS. I will do open houses and will set up a virtual tour. However, I do not stop there. Most of today's buyers will start their search online and I will make sure your home has a web presence. After spending years in the IT industry, it shouldn't be hard to believe that my marketing is heavily web-based. Your home will be featured on its own website, it will be featured on my website, it will be "blogged" about, and it will be listed on various real estate related sites throughout the Internet.
