Description
My office is located in the heart of Lakewood serving multiple communities. I understand what families expect and need from their neighborhoods! I also offer assistance for military relocations.

About Me:

I have been a resident of Washington for the past 24 years.  My specialties are residential, vacation, and recreation properties.  I offer extensive knowledge of the region across multiple counties.

I will do my best to assist you in your real estate transaction whether you are a buyer or a seller, local to the area or looking to relocate to Washington State.  Using my project management experience and PMP certification, I will help you attain your goal, create a stress free environment, and hopefully, make this an enjoyable experience for you.

I love the Puget Sound area which has plenty of space, friendly people, employment opportunities, and recreation! ! !

I understand what families need and expect from their neighborhoods and schools.  My sons grew up in Washington and graduated from Steilacoom High School.  The Town of Steilacoom was the first incorporated community in the Washington territory.

I look forward to meeting and working with you.

Best Regards,

Brenda Rix

Areas of Expertise

Working with people and their families is an enjoyable experience for me!  I like to discover and learn about each person's requirements in order to connect them with a neighborhood and home that suits their needs.  I love the process of home and property searching to the point of obsession!  My project management expertise allows me to ensure a smooth transaction while minimizing the stress.

My core knowledge areas include Pierce, Thurston, Mason, Jefferson, and Clallam counties.  The residential neighborhoods that I am most familiar with are Tacoma, Fife, University Place, Lakewood, Fircrest, Steilacoom, DuPont, Puyallup, Edgewood, Sumner, Spanaway, and Parkland.

The south Puget Sound region boasts lots of green space and beautiful settings around the waterways in the south sound area.  It is also home to U.S. Fort Lewis Army Base, McChord Air Force Base, and several Naval Stations.

Recreation and Fun

I am an outdoor person with two labradors and a new first-time grandmother.

Bogey is my 8 year yellow lab who is "large and in charge" of the 3 year old chocolate lab named Busy (she is busy and the name suits her well).  I have a special interest in recreational and vacation properties throughout Washington and most specifically in the Olympic Peninsula area.  Whether you are interested in views, waterfront, or acreage, I can assist you with this search.    We have a little "shack" on the Bogachiel River near Forks, Washington.   Year round we spend a lot of time there relaxing, fishing, floating down the river, renovating (my husband), and relaxing (me).

Another favorite family and friend past-time is salmon fishing and crabbing out of Seiku, Washington.  This is a fishing community in Clallam Bay area along the Strait of Juan de Fuca.  This waterway is the International Boundary between United States (Washington) and Canada (British Columbia).  During the salmon season, the recreational fishermen are out as far as the boundary amongst the ships in the shipping lanes.   You can hear the ships coming through honking their horns in the fog.  During the spring, summer and early fall, you may experience the whales and Dall's porpoises along side your boat!
