About Us:
Real estate has grown from a curiosity and love of architectural design to a passion that started with the purchase of my first home. Since my move To Virginia back in 1999, I have been involve in the real estate industry starting out as a receptionist; advancing to Marketing Director in my branch and finally crossing over to obtaining my license and practicing full-time. I have no regrets - just tons of enthusiasm and pure passion! I thoroughly enjoy the diversity, challenges and new experiences/knowlege I gain every day. Sharing the knowlege and experience with others including clients and peers, is rewarding!
Areas of Expertise
My areas of expertise include educating and working with first-time home buyers to ensure that their transition from the home search to closing and after, is as smooth and comprehensive as possible. Most often, these buyers are relocating to the area through the military with very little knowlege of the Greater Hampton Roads communities. Through educating them on the area, then starting homes searches early on (even as far back as eight months before arrival) we are able to narrow possibilities to a small selection of homes with that meet their needs and wants. By the time the client is at the closing table, they should have a total understanding of the transaction from start to finish and complete confidence not only in my representing them but in being able to purchase/sell their homes in the future.
Other areas of expertise include an "outside the box" approach to marketing listings. I see each listing as unique. The marketing of these homes should be as individual as the home itself. This includes print, online and the "personal touches" I provide as their Listing Agent including a personalized 3-month marketing strategy with regular follow-up and discussion.
Finally, I'm always available to my customers and clients. I rarely turn my phone off. E-mails and voicemails are returned within the day, usually within the hour. My customers and clients are very important to me!

I moved to Virginia from California because my fiancé was stationed here with the Navy. We were not sure how long we would be in Virginia so we decided that renting was the best option for us. With little knowledge of the area we began the grueling task of driving around to find something to our likings. After making several calls we came across a property being represented by Bonnie Tegge. She asked how we heard about the rental and when I told her that we were driving around she immediately jumped into action. She set up a search and began sending information on rental properties directly to my email. I was able to continue my searching from the comfort of my own home. She set up appointments for us to see the properties that we liked and seemed very concerned with helping us find something to fit our needs.
We ended up choosing a property that neither she nor her company represented but she was still just as helpful as ever. She worked with us after normal business hours and made sure we got into our new place quickly. She even followed up with a phone call after we moved in to make sure everything went smoothly. This was a very pleasant and personal experience. We are now at the end of our lease and looking to rent a larger place and have chosen to work with Bonnie again. This experience as been just as great as the first one and I am greatly appreciative.
