Byron is a specialist in residential existing homes, new construction, First-time home buyer, buyer/seller representation, and relocation markets. Mr. Lewis also has a strong background in the investment and commercial side of real estate.
Mr. Lewis is a second generation real estate professional, the son of the founder, broker and co-owner of Landmark Real Estate's Duane Lewis. Growing up with a father in investment and commercial real estate, Byron's interest in the real estate field began at an early age.
While still in his senior year of high school, Byron was actively involved in property management as well as holding a position at a local branch of a prominent state bank. He was able to accomplish this by completing his requirements for high school along with prospectively being selected for and then granted permission in what was then a new business career program. The program allowed for his daily early release from his high school to perform his duties at the bank, where he was later selected to a team to head a new branch division of the bank.
Byron continued working in banking while attending college at Kansas State University. At KSU Byron focused his studies in the areas of Finance in the Business College as well as the field of Economics within the Arts & Science College. In the Business Program at K-State, he studied all three degree focuses offered by the College of Business in the Department of Finance which encompased the areas of Financial Services, Financial Controllership, and Financial Management. Incorporating a degree in Science in Economics, Byron was able to further his exposure to a broader perspective of markets often under observed in Finance studies. In his economic studies he chose the focus in Developmental Economics, a focus offered by the college. Mr Lewis spent his remaining free study seminar time using his knack in Mathematics and Statistics in Econometrics (developing and applying quantitative methods to Economic principles) also known as statistical economics.
After graduating from KSU, Byron entered into the technology industry working in the areas of Corporate Financial Management, Business Development, Research and Manufacturing Facilities Development, and Facilities Management. He also worked with the acquisition of grants from the local government level programs to working within grants from such entities as the Department of Defense and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) including grants from the highly regarded NIST Advanced Technology Program (ATP)...
