I have a passion for 'coaching' home buyers through the home loan process in order to help them define their goals, needs, and choose the best home loan possible.  I also enjoy helping current home owners determine if refinancing is in their best interest.  This is done by analyzing the bigger picture, defining short and long term financial goals, and reviewing the numbers to determine if and how much you will benefit.  Unfortunately, lowering your interest rate does not always work to your advantage.  Some people refer to this approach as mortgage planning.  After working with me you will know that I work endlessly to make the approval and closing process seamless and stress free.  I believe honesty, transparency, and open communication are the cornerstone to a trusting and enjoyable working relationship.  

Prior to working as a mortgage banker/broker, I sold web based print solutions to fortune 1,000 companies.  Prior to that I was a professional golfer (PGA teaching pro and mini tour player) for 7 years before realizing I wasn't devloping into the next Jack Nicklaus or Tiger Wods.  I am happily married, live in Winchester, CA, have two young boys, enjoy playing golf for fun, and serve weekly as the ushers director at my local church.  I am originally from Minnesota so I enjoy taking in a game of ice hockey, routing on my Twins and Vikings, and listening to country music.

I specialize in securing favorable mortgage home loan financing for people who want to purchase a home as well as for those who want to refinance.  I help first time home buyers as well as current home owners purchase homes and investment properties.  My favorite loan programs are 100% financing no down payment USDA loans, FHA and FHA 203K loans to purchase and renovate, as well as VA and traditional conforming loan programs.  I enjoy the challenging files that many loan officers walk away from. 

I network with Realtors and real estate agents, home builders, investors, financial planners, CPA's, and insurance agents to help their buyers or clients compare mortgage programs, interest rates, and choose the best mortgage program for their needs.......This is what I refer to as purposeful mortgage planning.  I use industry leading marketing tools and software analysitcs to facilitate the loan status reporting to my real estate agents and find new home buyers.
