Background Information
Business name: REO Properties, a Division of Century 21 Ditton Realty. Real Estate Broker and State Licensed Residential Appraiser.
Located at 49015 Road 426 in Oakhurst, CA at the "Talking Bear", corner Hwy 41 and Road 426.
I have lived in the Oakhurst area most of my life. I also lived in South Lake Tahoe for 7 years. I attended Yosemite High School, Fresno City College and Fresno State University. In 1999 I helped organize and open the Bank of Madera County and worked as a commercial and real estate lender for many years. I have been active in real estate since 1991. I also worked as a deputy tax collector for Mariposa County.
Having a good understanding of this unique area is crucial in assisting others with their real estate needs. Local real estate agents have to deal with private and shared wells, septic systems, large parcels from 1 acre to over 200 acres, historic areas, protected plants and animals, etc. I specialize in working with lenders and banks listing and marketing their REO properties. In 2008 I sold over 9 million dollars worth of REO properties for banks and asset management companies. If you are looking for an experienced REO/Foreclosure agent and you want an asset sold, please call me at 559-683-4049.
I perform appraisals in most of Madera, Fresno, and Mariposa Counties. Please visit our website at www.maderacountyappraisals.com
Areas of Expertise
I originally obtained my California real estate license in 1991. California real estate broker - DRE #01103207. I'm also a licensed residential real estate appraiser - OREA #AL041324. For many years I worked as a commercial and real estate lender for two local banks.
ON APPRAISALS:
When completing any appraisal assignment, I do it from the lenders point of view. I take pride in offering fast, reliable, and accurate service at a reasonable price. The appraiser has to be the eyes of the lender and provide a realistic value opinion in the market where the asset is located. I perform residential real estate appraisals in: Oakhurst, Coarsegold, Bass Lake, North Fork, Raymond, Mariposa, Ahwahnee, Fresno, Clovis, Fish Camp and several other nearby cities and towns.
ON REAL ESTATE:
In November 2008 Brad Ditton, owner of Century 21 Ditton Realty and my company, REO Properties joined forces. I manage the REO Properties Division. Century 21 Ditton Realty has 5 office locations and consistantly markets and sells more homes than any other real estate office in the area. REO Properties specialize in marketing and selling foreclosed properties, both commercial and residential. Our office maintains a complete list of service providers that provide trashout service, interior cleaning, yard work, painting, pool service, locksmith work, septic repair, and any other minor repairs that are required when preparing an asset for marketing. I currently work with many nationwide lenders in marketing their foreclosure properties such as Wells Fargo and Countrywide. References are available. Please call us first if you have a property you would like sold. My direct line is 559-683-4049.

Family life
My family has lived at Bass Lake, http://www.basslakeca.com/index.php since the 1930's when my grandparents bought a cabin at the lake to use as a second home. In the late 1960's when they both retired, they moved to the lake full-time. In 1976 when they were too old to deal with the snow they sold the cabin and moved to Oakhurst.
My wife Rima is very active in the community. She is a member of the Oakhurst Chamber of Commerce, a board member of the Oakhurst Boys and Girls Club, a board member of FOBL (Friends of the Oakhurst Branch Library) and somehow still finds time to work a full time job at Sierra Telephone and raise two young children. In November 2008 she was honered to be named Female Angel of the Year by Angels Amongst Us, an organization that recognizes individuals and local busines for their contributions to the community.
We were fortunate in 1999 to find a small cabin we could afford so we sold our home in Coarsegold and moved to the lake. We love it here! Especially in the summer when the water is warm and the lake is full. Friday evenings in the summer months are spent with friends at Jazz on the Lake at The Pines. http://www.basslake.com/calendar.html
We also enjoy off road vehicles and spend many hours exploring in our Jeep Wrangler. The trails around here are limitless. We have several off road motorcycles and a street bike we enjoy riding when the weather is warm. I have been a member of the American Motorcycle Association (AMA) for over 20 years.
