About Us:

I am Based in Newnan, Ga. and perform residential and commercial inspections in the South Metro Atlanta area....from S. Cobb on the west to Rockdale in the east and Lagrange to the south.

I worked for AT&T for 32 years and left in 1998. I "flipped" houses as part of a small investment group for a few years and that inspired me to learn as much as I could about house construction and systems.

Cowles Home Inspection Services, Inc. was the natural result of that learning as I realized I "love" this stuff. Helping people through a home buying or selling experience is almost reward enough...but I charge a fee anyway.

Areas of Expertise

I have spent and continue to spend many hours learning about houses. I have developed expertise and acheived certification in inspecting all structural components including foundations, framing, insulation, siding and roofing. I am also certified in inspecting all of the homes systems like electrical. plumbing and HVAC.

To further serve my clients, I have been trained and certified in health hazards like asbestos, lead, mold and Radon gas.

I have averaged at least 30 hours of continuing education in all of these areas for the last 5 years in order to stay current on all the changes in building codes and home building methods and systems.
