About Me.
Kristy Morrison loves real estate so much so that she is on to her 3rd house at the age of 25. She has a passion for sprucing up a house and staging it to sell. She wants to share her skills with the public. She graduated from QC Design School as an official ISRP (International Staging and Redesign Professional). She also attended the CCW (Colour Consultant Workshop) and POW (Professional Organizer Workshop) in Toronto.
Kristy is always furthering her education by attending seminars that are held within the Ottawa area. As a graduate of such programs, Kristy was able to become affiliated with some of the leading staging and design companies such as the RESA (Real Estate Staging Association). Kristy, along with her staff, are determined to get the job done in a timely and professional manner.

Many companies do home staging part time which is not always beneficial for booking the appointment or even having the expertise. With Capital Home Staging & Design we believe in offering many related services to help the home owner. Home Staging is the art of preparing a home for sale. Effective marketing, making the home packaged better than the competition (other homes for sale in the area or price range). When you "Stage" a home you are tailoring it to the NEW buyer we need to neutralize, depersonalize, delcutter, and enhance specific areas of the home. With Colour Consulting we help home owners pick out items like paint colours that would look attractive with their existing furniture, or even fabrics for draperies, and accessories. We take the guess work out of colouring your life! Professional Organizing is when we help our clients take control of their surroundings whether it be a messy closet or a office space of destruction. We even use professional organizing for our home staging jobs, we help clients that are downsizing, relocating, dealing with a family situation (death, divorce, kids moving out) all situations leave you left with a lot of items its OUR job to help you sort though it effectively. I always say "Keep the memories not the junk". Interior Redesign is where we take your EXISTING items and give new life to them, we make your rooms function in a way you never even thought of. This is beneficial to home owners who love their furniture but just don't know how to liven the place up and make it feel warm and inviting again. Residential Decorating we will listen to your thoughts and ideas and turn them into reality! have you ever wanted a room transformation and just didn't know how to get their? We do! we will make up drawings show you our vision and then help you execute them!
