Bay Area transplants, Tom and Christine Frisina love their Montecito home thanks to Carla Reeves. Carla found the Frisinas a gorgeous lot in Montecito with majestic Eucalyptus trees and specatacular vistas to build the gorgeous dream home. The lot came with 'pre-approved' design schematics for exactly the type of home they had in mind. Although Carla is married to a very successful Architect, she encouraged the Frisinas to stay with the Architect of record in order to facilitate a smoother approval process in dealing with the difficult Montecito ABR.
Hank and MaryK Honrath found Carla's incredible patience and tenacity a real asset when they listed their condo with her. With a rapidly changing market Carla kept the Honrath's in the loop with constant market updates and advice. She supervised painting of the home and installation of new carpeting and even 'staged' the condo herself. Her optimism and knowledge of the market really helped us in selling our Santa Barbara home so that we could relax in our new retirement community!
Sensitivity and Market Knowledge were two important traits Carla brought to the table in selling the home of Lynda Roberts' mother. As Trustee of her mother's estate, Lynda had a fiduciary reponsibility to the Trust in doing the best in selling her mother's home in a progressively difficult real estate market. Not an easy task as Lynda resides in another State, has a very busy business schedule which often included travel (numerous fax locations) and a family illness. Carla kept Lynda aprised of the declining market and made numerous suggestions for price reductions and enhancements of the property, including staging the property at her own expense. Even with new paint, carpeting and a major yard clean up, it remained difficult to attract a qualified buyer to the property. After three attempts, Carla successful closed the sale at the list price, keeping Lynda in the loop at all times.
After her SB condo languished on the market with another Broker for over a year, Jeanine Dunn contacted Carla Reeves at the suggestion Carla's client and President of the HO, David Gomez. Carla jumped right on the task by totally staging the condo, blitzing the web and market with photos, broker tours and open houses. A beautiful condo, made even more beautiful with charming staging featuring the best assets of this lovely pied de terre. A happy and qualified buyer was found within 30 days!
Carla was presented with the prestigious Howard Gates Award in 2006 by the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors. This award is given to the agent who is most representative of completing a most difficult transaction which closed because of the professionalism, dilligence and exceptional effort of the agent.
