Personal:
In 1997, my family & I made the move to Cary, NC from Orlando, FL. My husband Jeff works as Chief Information Officer for a medical group based in Durham, NC. I have two wonderful children and a dog named Gracie. Thanks to my two children, we're a soccer and swim family. When time allows, we like to boat on Kerr Lake, go to the beach, and attend musicals and other cultural art events.
Having experienced a corporate relocation myself, I have a personal in-depth understanding of the relocation process and enjoy assisting newcomers Relocating to the Triangle area.
Career:
Real Estate is my passion! I love working with buyers and sellers. It truly gives me great pleasure knowing I'm helping People with one of the biggest investments they may ever make. In a market such as we're experiencing now, you really have to love your job as a Realtor and be ready for all its challenges. It pays off when you end the day knowing you made someone's life easier just by doing your job.
- In the Beginning: I began my career in the mortgage banking industry with one of the top Lenders in our nation. Working on another side of a Real Estate transaction has given me priceless knowledge that benefits me till this day. As a mortgage specialist, I worked with clients, appraisers, inspectors, title companies, lawyers, builders, brokers, and many others. I have a complete picture of the journey a buyer and seller experiences. I first entered the Real Estate market as a Realtor in Orlando, FL.; in which I gained valuable experience working with both buyers and sellers as their designated agent . In 1997, my family & I relocated to Cary, NC. Having gone through the Relocation process myself, I can honestly say, I've been there, done that, and survived to tell about it. In this case, I use that experience to make relocating easier for others.
- Today: Currently, as a skilled licensed Broker in North Carolina, it is my privilege and joy to serve Buying and Selling clients in the Triangle. I work with Buyers and Sellers in Cary, Raleigh, Apex, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Durham, and surrounding areas.
- Buyers Agent: I am a RELOCATION Specialist and finding the right location and home for my buyers is key. My goal is to hear what the buyer is telling me they want & need, then guide them through a smooth home buying process. I strive to help them avoid possible pitfalls and find the best home at the best price. Patience is my promise - you should never feel forced to buy a home. Our market is unique so you can't judge every home the same. You really need a Broker/Realtor who can give you solid advice, expert home pricing, introduce you to all the homes that fit your criteria, and who will find answers to all your questions and concerns. By the way, did you know that as a Realtor in NC, I can represent you as your agent with new construction, resales, foreclosures, short sales, and even for sale by owner properties? My goal is to help you find the best help for you regardless of the situation. You'll probably be calling me to sell your home some day in the future and I want to be sure I can do just that!
- Seller's - Listing Agent: My Business Partner Sharon & I list/sell homes throughout the Triangle including Raleigh, Cary, Holly Springs, Wake Forest, Apex, Durham, Fuquay-Varina, and surrounding areas. We have experience with all kinds of situations including estate sales, real estate due to divorce, short sales, relocation, leased properties and more. Selling a home can be a challenging process and we're here to lend our expertise to sellers and help them sell their home for the best price in the shortest amount of time. When you list a home to sell, the process isn't always the same as every other persons. We treat You (our Seller) and your home individually by determining what needs to happen before the house goes on the market, what is the likely sale price, informing you (our seller) how much you'll net after the home is sold, helping you (our seller) prepare the property for the market (this can be a big job), introducing the property to ALL its potential Buyers via our marketing strategies, navigating through the contract and inspection process and then of course, putting SOLD on your sign and finishing AT the Closing Table. We leave no stone un-turned when it comes to selling homes. If we have to get creative, we do! We're here for You (our sellers) when you're thrown those unexpected curve balls; because in the end, it's all about YOU and helping You realize Your goals.
- Why Your Realtor IS Important: For both buyers and sellers, it's often an educational process. What you need to know is always changing which is why we stay informed, take continuing education classes, keep current in market conditions, and maintain knowledge of Triangle changes. It is more than a full time job but, we are happy to do it for You! We live, work, and Play in this town and we'd Like to Call you Neighbor!
Find out what Kowitz & Freund Realty can do for you today! Afterall, it is All About YOU!

Sellers:
- Dear Carla, thank you so much for all your help this year. You are certainly a hard working efficient and effective agent. And, we are so lucky to have you as a friend. We look forward to our new home search. Fondly, Johanne & Carl
- Carla, Bob & I wanted to express our appreciation to you for your help in selling our home during this difficult housing crisis. You were great & went well above the call of duty. You were easy to contact, organized & always willing to help out with the lawn maintenance, trash service, whatever. Several times you made extra trips to our house to take care of different situations while we were out of town and we are very thankful for that. Please feel free to use Bob & me as a reference. You did an excellent job & we appreciate your selling our house. You are a wonderful Realtor! Sincerely Bob & Wendy

Hi Carla, Now that you have helped us to both buy and sell our homes, I wanted to thank you for all you have done. 1) Buying- After setting us up with internet notices for all the neighborhoods and zips we were interested in, you kept close watch and alerted us to homes even before we could see them. Result: we bought just the home at just the price in just the neighborhood we wanted. 2) Selling- Your staging and honest council about how to present our home to sellers the very best way resulted in a contract in 10 days and closing 45 days from the listing date. Can it get any better than that?
Carla, I have bought and sold 9 homes in the past 40 years, most with an agent's help. I want you and anyone else to know that your service, advice, knowledge of the market and kind attention went far and beyond that of any other agent I have ever worked with. I can only say to others that, if they want to have a truly positive real estate experience, having you as their agent will make that come true. Carla, you take your service to customers beyond just a business; I know it is your ministry and you do it to the glory of God with honesty and integrity, as unto the Lord. If someone is looking for an agent they can trust, believe in, and who gets results, you are the one. Thank you for all you have done for us and all you will do for others. Blessings, Pam Stewart

- Dear Carla, We did it! Thanks so much for all your patience and commitment to our search. It took a little longer than we anticipated, but, it was definitely worth it! We are looking forward to out of town visitors. And most importantly, we are looking forward to making lots of great memories with our children. Please let your family know how much we appreciate their support in all that you do. Johanne & Carl
- Carla, I want to thank you all your hard work. You have definitely proven to be a woman that is not just doing her job for just a paycheck, but a person who has a true heart and has her client`s best interest because she cares... I really see that in you and want to tell you that I appreciate everything that you did. I know God will bless you for that. Betty
- Carla - I can`t tell you enough how thankful we are that God allowed us to go through a somewhat scary process with such a trustworthy, caring person. I keep telling everyone that the process was so enjoyable and worry free because of God and our great realtor. We not only got a wonderful home, but also a friend! Thank you for taking care of us and answering the million questions we had. Your patience is an example for sure. Caroline
- Hey Carla, normally I let Caroline take care of the thank you cards, but I just wanted to make sure you knew how grateful I am for all you`ve done for Caroline & I. You have been so kind & generous to us and I really can`t express in words how thankful I am that God put you in our lives! We love our house, by the way, and can`t wait to have you over soon to show you what we`ve done with the place :) Thanks again for making the whole process so easy and enjoyable! Of course, I`ll be recommending you to anyone in need of an agent. :) Ben

What's so Great About North Carolina
North Carolina is such a beautiful place to live, work, and play. We relocated to Cary, NC in 1997 from Central Florida due to a new job for my husband. I had a 2 yr. old son and a daughter on the way. Having visited about 5 years earlier, I was excited about the move. I really loved living in the Orlando area but, was looking forward to the changing seasons that come with living in North Carolina. Moving to a town where we didn't know anyone was a little scary at first but, it wasn't long before we had made friends. I immediately got my kids involved in play groups, educational activities, and church. As a matter of fact, my kids are still best friends with the very first friends they made here. We've made so many friends and have come to know this as "home".
We love all the changing season and beautiful scenery. We love how involved everyone is in college sports and local kids activities. There isn't much your kids will want to do that they can't do here. We love that folks care about their kids education and exposure to the arts. We enjoy the local restaurants, farmers market, and stores you don't find everywhere. There are so many entertainment options including musicals, sports, town festivals, parks, water sports, museums, and much more. Wake County is close to several beaches and the mountains. There are people from all 52 states and Puerto Rice who have moved here as well as many other countries. The people here are so nice and neighborly.
Our area remains one of the top places to live in the United States. It isn't because a magazine says so, it's because the people here constantly give our new home town their "seal of approval".
