About Me and My Sphere of Influence

Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read about me.  I love what I do, helping buyers and sellers in the Southern Gulf Islands, dedicating the majority of my time to Pender Island.  Pender Island is located between the mainland of British Columbia and Vancouver Island.   Every day I am proud to identify myself as a REALTOR, helping to uphold the image of the real estate industry in Canada.  I have been doing so for the past five years, full-time, living on Pender Island, so I have really gotten to know the local market.  My husband Denis and I moved to Pender Island over thirteen years ago.  Since that time both of our sons and their families have relocated to Pender Island, all of us from Alberta.  We all love boating in this protected area, and Denis and I like to escape for the odd weekend on our 3270 Bayliner to Sidney By The Sea, Victoria Inner Harbour, Ganges on Salt Spring Island, or Friday Harbour in the US San Juan Islands.

My past career as an accounting professional included assisting many small businesses in the role of financial advisor and consultant.  I spent many years as the accountant for the Alberta Lottery Fund, plus a few years with EDS Canada as accountant for outsourced projects.  At various times over the years I ran my own accounting business with many clients in Alberta, and on Pender Island.  I came to realize that real estate has always been my true passion.  I enthusiastically embrace my company's motto "Helping You Is What We Do!"   Most of my business is done as a buyer's agent, however, I also list properties on Pender.

I have a few websites and manage to update them on a fairly regular basis.  One of my websites is www.retirementinsoutherngulfislands.com and I produce a monthly newsletter with retirement information called the "Budnyk Report".  All issues of my newsletter are archived on this website.
