NC/SC licensed real estate broker helping buyers and sellers in South Charlotte, Matthews, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Waxhaw, Weddington and other small towns of Union County, North Carolina since 1985.
Meet Carol Fox
Thanks for visiting my profile and getting to know me better!
I moved to Matthews, NC, a small town that is part of the Charlotte region, over twenty five years ago. I have enjoyed living in this vibrant area and watching Charlotte grow into one of the most desirable cities in America. I have practiced residential real estate in the area since 1985 and am proud of the professional expertise that I can bring to every real estate transaction.
As your guide to buying and selling real estate, I hope to offer you...
Superior Professional Service and Buyer Representation. I am an Accredited Buyer Representative and a Certified Residential Specialist, designations held by only a small percentage of agents nationwide.
Expert Knowledge of the Charlotte area and its Small Towns. I can help you find the best Charlotte properties and Charlotte neighborhoods for your lifestyle. If you are interested in small town living, I can guide you to the best small towns in the Charlotte area.
Technical Expertise and Results from Many Years of Top Production. I was the top agent in the Matthews Branch of the Allen Tate Company in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011. I was named one of Charlotte's Best Agents in Client Satisfaction as seen in Charlotte Magazine from 2007 through 2012. I received the Allen Tate Co. 2008 President's Club Award for $100,000,000 in Closed Real Estate Sales.
Community Involvement and A Background in Real-Estate Related Professions and Working with People. I am a former city planner and project manager for a developer and have been a member of several Charlotte citizen planning groups. I was also a teacher at the secondary and college levels.
Areas of Expertise
I can walk in your shoes whether you are a buyer or a seller. Every year, half of my real estate practice is devoted to helping buyers find the right home and neighborhood and half is devoted to helping sellers get the greatest reward from selling their real estate.
You will find me selling homes in the southern part of the Charlotte region. I work from the eastern areas of the region, such as Mint Hill to the southern sections, including Matthews, South Charlotte, Ballantyne, Pineville, to all of Union County, NC and to the small towns in South Carolina adjacent to Charlotte, including Fort Mill, Tega Cay and Indian Land. Thinking of a move to Union County? I have sold Waxhaw, Wesley Chapel, Weddington, Marvin, Monroe, Indian Trail, Lake Park and Stallings for over twenty five years.

People are talking about Carol...
"Change comes hard, but you eased me through selling my home and buying a condo. With your guidance, both were painless. After many years in one house, I dreaded scrutiny by strangers, feared my home was dated and that I would be unable to negotiate a decent deal. You opened my eyes to the positive things-large rooms, lush yard and fence perfect for children or pets. Sure, some things needed fixing, but why refurbish when a new owner might do it differently? I listened. And you listened. You anticipated every relevant concern and made the decisions easy. In 17 days, the house was sold. Four months later you reversed the process. You understood my needs and observed my preferences, then called early on the day my condo was listed. With you as coach, we secured a contract on the 4th day from my initial phone call. Today we closed on the condo and opened a new phase in my life. Working with you, Carol, gave me the confidence to make those decisions. I wish you continued success and know that anyone I refer to you will be in the hands of a skilled professional."
"What a wonderful experience! As first time homebuyers, Carol helped us to move from being clueless to being confident in our purchase. Her knowledge of the market, her flexibility in working with our schedules, and her sound advice were things we appreciated very, very much. I will recommend her to everyone we know as an outstanding real estate agent."
Rebecca, Indian Trail
"For the past year my wife Cindy and I have had the pleasure of working with Carol Fox during the purchase of our new home. Her experience and knowledge of the South Charlotte/Union County area has made our new home selection much easier than we had ever anticipated.
To misquote Forrest Gump's Mama, "The internet is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get." Well this time we got the best. While surfing the net for desirable places to raise a family, we found Carol through a link on a Union County website. She promptly responded to our email and after a short phone conversation had set up an agenda of homes and communities for us to consider. We made arrangements to travel to Charlotte in the next few weeks...
By August we selected the home site and Carol guided us and kept us notified and informed at every step during the building process. Because we lived over 600 miles from Charlotte, Carol would e-mail us pictures and send information about local schools and employment opportunities. She also sent reminders of any legal or financial matters that needed attention...She truly acted in our best interest every step of the way."
